I am in the week of studying for finals so I’m going to make this quick!Band- Thao
Lead by Thao, Thao is an awesome innocent pop band. With weirded out music videos and a great sense of humor Thao makes you long for beaches and summer days. Listen to “When We Swam”, “Bag of Hammers” and “Beat (Health, Life, and Fire)”
Band-Blakroc
The band I mentioned a while back finally released their album this last Friday and it is amazing. There isn’t a track on here that is mediocre all the songs are unique and amazing. If one had to choose two songs to listen to take a look at “Hope You’re Happy” and “Done Did It” but honestly every song is worth buying so save your time and just buy the entire album for $10 or download the whole thing on Limewire and save every penny!
Band-Susan Boyle
I always like throwing out an odd choice out here but if you are looking for a great “somewhat christmas” CD then look no further. Boyle won the “Britain’s Got Talent” TV show and her album is very fascinating. She covers a wide variety of songs from the Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses” to the Monkees’ “Daydream Believer”. Boyle also sticks to the basic hymns of “How Great art Thou” and “Amazing Grace”. If theres a CD to buy this Christmas season, its this one!
