Salad in your Face!
Recently I was surfing the web and came across a site that had a mashup of the Beatles and the Wu-Tang Clan. I had to listen to this if was good or bad. I was shocked when I realized how awesome the mash-up was. If you havent heard, the Roots will be releasing a new album soon, and they have just released their first single How I Got Over, and its a instant hit. It is very in depth musically and Black Thought kills it on the mic. Go have a Listen
Free on Itunes is a band I heard of before but was never able to download their music, Broken Bells. This band is great especially if you like bands such as the Crash Kings. The single that is free on Itunes is The High Road. But their album is coming out around the first week of March which will definitely be worth the buy and wait.
This next band is about 2 years old. The Postelles is a great young band which I discovered from Lollapalooza. They have great singles such as White Night and Stella. They have a great early 60’s feel to them and they really know how to harmonize their voices. So go take a listen to all these bands and tell me what you think.
