I’m just going to get right into it.
Nas and Damian Marley- As We Enter
This song is ridiculous. It is a breath of fresh air with Hip-Hop and Reggae mix. Saying that though don’t get the wrong impression when you think modern day Hip-Hop reggae (AKA: Sean Paul) Damian Marley is much better then him and in no ways are similar and Nas brings in true hip-hop street influence. They also will be hitting the summer music festivals this year so check them out!
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club- Beat the Devil’s Tattoo
After 3 years of no recording BRMC is back and they are coming back to make a point. Their new album, Beat the Devil’s Tattoo (3/9/10) will definitely make them very popular on the radio. I am sure this song will be a hit and you will be hearing it again and again. It is a good song that needs to listened to.
Butch Walker- (Album) I liked it Better When You Had No Heart
This album is for the lady rocker, even though I do like this artist for his crazy rocker style. On this album Butch goes back to what he knows best, soft lyrics with great acoustic guitar. He really nails it on this album and should be heard by a lot of people. Again, this album might be the breakthrough that Butch has been looking for.
Lastly,
The White Stripes- (Album) Under Great White Northern Lights
This is a live album of the White Stripes’ 2007 concert, the last time they toured. It is a great collection of some of their greatest hits and is one of the better live albums I have heard. It is set to release on March 16th. Let’s all hope that they release a new album by the end of the year!!
